Congratulations, Andrea!

Hey, Writerly Women! Will you join me in congratulating our own ANDREA CHATMAN? She has been offered a contract by Elk Lake Publishing for her novel Beneath the Deep. Elk Lake is a small but traditional royalty-paying house publishing books of a Christian nature. This is HUGE for Andrea, and I'm thrilled for her as I know you are. We'll celebrate Saturday.
Anytime you have a milestone in your writing journey -- be it, "I wrote 5,000 words this week," or "An agent wants to see my manuscript," or "I had a short story published," or "I got a contract!" -- I would love to share that here so we can all do the happy dance with you.
See you Saturday!
Nancy Rue
Andrea Chatman, author of Beneath the Deep
Thanks, Andrea! Love that term, BTW, a 'plantser'; it carries a good bit of weight and information within it. :)

The zoom was awesome β€β€β€ I love hanging out with you ladies. It is always so energizing!!
Laureen, great question! I'm a plantser writer. A middle ground between a writing by the seat of my pants and planning it through. I have to know the beginning and the ending but the rest just kind of comes. π
How about you?

Hi, all! That session today was great, and my thanks, Nancy, for bringing us together for it. ππΌβΊοΈ
I thought of this question after we ended: Do all of you already have a story laid out in your minds before you start writing? You knew the beginning, middle, and ending of the story?
Thanks and it was nice meeting you!

Thank you β€β€ I'm excited and nervous and feel like I'm sending my kid to college π
Cathy, thank you so much! That is great to hear. I did as much research as I could on them. Glad to hear your daughter had such a positive experience with them. I looked up her author page and bought her book on Kindle! I'm excited to read it. I enjoy the authors she mentioned inspired her too. Especially Verne, who inspired my book. Has she met Robin? I know her!

How wonderful, Andrea! They are a great company to work with. Deb Haggarty, the owner, is a dear woman of God. Our daughter, Faith, just had her debut novel published with them this past November. It's gorgeous! Praying all goes well for you! Blessings!
